I grew up in a small family business before attending the University of Louisiana Monroe in Construction Management. After joining the Louisiana National Guard, I was called to serve in Desert Storm in the Middle East where I was
a Sergeant and Assistant Squad Leader performing engineering support to the 7th Corps. After completing my education, I worked as a surveyor, operator, and project manager in the site work and utility industry. I later progressed through the field and office ranks from Field Engineer to Senior Vice President in the multi-family new construction industry.
As Senior Vice President of Lennar Multifamily Builders, I helped create the organizational platform that enabled the company to retain construction profits from building multifamily and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeastern U.S. Prior to joining LMB in 2012, I owned my own company providing consulting services to multi-family developers as well as developing and building my own projects. I was also a regional construction manager for JPI for 10 years where I began in the field and later oversaw projects in multiple states including Virginia, Tennessee, Colorado, Georgia, and Florida before moving on to start my own company. I’ve overseen the completion of of over 12,300 multi-family units in 7 states and hold licenses in several states in the Southeast.
All of this experience has made me the systems-based development and construction management professional I am today.
